Kid Creole and The Coconuts - saw them at Friars Aylesbury backin the early 80's, brilliant show
Also, saw Granmaster Flash there too, another good night
Anyone else ever go there? Friars was a noted venue back in the day and credited with the launch of Bowie amongst others

Easily the best for was The Clash at the Rainbow in '77.
Other notables include:
Dr Feelgood at the Kursal '75. The Who at the Lyceum '73 (supported by Kilburn and the High Roads). Mountain and Wishbone Ash double header at the Rainbow '71 Todd Rundgren at the Festival Hall '04 Van Morrison at many venues.
Worst gigs were Pink Floyd at Crystal Palace '71 and Steely Dan at Wembley Arena '96.

I was crying with joy when David Bowie played the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury, 1999 I think.
I was absolutely doobed out of my head though.
